Work Center

A work center refers to a specific zone within a warehouse designated for performing a variety of activities.

The following are some activities that can be performed at the work center:

• Packing
• Deconsolidation: Breaking down mix handling units (HU)
• Quality Inspection
• Value Added Services (VAS) such as labeling, oiling, kitting, assembly etc.
• Counting
• Weighing 

You must assign the work center to warehouse number, storage type, and storage bin. Only storage type with below role must be used to work center.

• Work Center (E)
• Pick Point (B)
• Work Center in Staging Area Group (I)
• Identification and Pick Point (C)
