Crate Part Replenishment

This replenishment process ensures that specific quantities of crate parts are available at the Production Supply Area (PSA). It is ideally suited for production integration scenarios where components must be staged in crate for continuous consumption at the production line.

Crate Parts replenishment procedures can either be triggered interactively by users or set to run automatically in the background.

Below methods involved in the crate part replenishment process

• Quantity based calculation

Need to set min quantity at PSA, replenishment quantity

• Calculation based on the packaging specification

Need to set min no of container at PSA, no of container and packaging specification to define the quantity per container (Target Quantity in main level)

Replenishment Qty = No container * Quantity per container

1. Assign product group type and product group to Product

On the Properties 2-tab page

Tcode - /SCWM/SAPAPO/MAT1

2. Define the parameters in the Assign Bin to PSA/Product/Entitled in Warehouse Number

Tcode - /SCWM/PSASTAGE

3. Packaging specification if "Type of Quantity Calculation" is based on the packaging specification.
